AMRA’s Law II: The Law of the Seed

law of the seed

law of the seedWhoever sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and whoever sows generously will also reap generously. Each of you should give what you have decided in your heart to give, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver. And God is able to bless you abundantly, so that in all things at all times, having all that you need, you will abound in every good work.
~ 2 Corinthians 9:6-15

In our daily lives this is exactly what happens. Every action taken by us generates a chain reaction from cosmic standpoint. We attract what we send out: that is how the Law of the Seedworks. Some may call it the Law of Attraction, but, in truth, it is much more than just wishful thinking or a cultivation of a “Happy Place”. It is straightforwardly an integrative work between heart and mind to incorporate one’s personal vibrations with cosmic abundance. We live in a benevolent Universe.

We make a living by what we get; we make a life by what we give.
~ Winston Churchill

Putting it in simple words, if we have positive thoughts and attitudes, we will have a similar response from the Universe, the Dharma; but if we insist in acting negatively, we tend to return to the basics of Karma. We harvest only what we sow: we are co-creators of our realities.

Trying to get without first giving is as fruitless as trying to reap without having sown."
~ Napoleon Hill

This is an incredible lesson in co-creation, and it is expressed through the Golden Rule in many different cultures and many different religions: "Do not do to others what you would not want done to you."

This is the only true law of AMRA, whose mystic principle is not explicitly explained in the Bible, except where it is briefly mentioned in Luke 6:38:

Give, and you will receive. Your gift will return to you in full--pressed down, shaken together to make room for more, running over, and poured into your lap. The amount you give will determine the amount you get back.

Mostly, this concept have been distorted and badly labeled as a tithe. Tithe is a word which means, according to the dictionaries, a contribution or tax equivalent to one-tenth of an income, typically to a religion.  It no longer has anything to do with the spiritual concept behind it.
