Traditional Tales – The Wings of Humans
“We are each of us angels with only one wing, and we can only fly by embracing one another.”
~Luciano De Crescenzo
Tradition says that one day a powerful archangel came before the presence of the Creator and respectfully talked to him.
Oh G-D of my heart, Venerable Grand Master, IOD-HE-VAU-HE, Three times powerful, most high, king of truth, wise Intelligence, All that is, consciousness of all, without endings or beginning, please answer me;
For I have visited all the four corners of your creation; North, South, East and West, and I observed that people with good will towards others had an engraved symbol of love on their hearts. Their souls are different from others souls that inhabit Earth. All these blessed souls have two wings just like all of us from the angelic realms, unlike the other humans that have only one wing. Oh Divine symbol of love, light, and life, how would they fly?
And G-d spoke:
Beloved soul, I made them this way; they need to learn the teachings of the ages, understand that they need to unite their wings to learn how to fly. They need to interlace their feathers, as they were hands, as this is the only way to soar safely.
My Idea is that this way, their ideals will never fail or disappear from the face of the Earth, and the fruit of their loving labor and essence will permeate and seed the entire universe.
This way the Earthly souls will reach me when they learn to rely upon, admire and help each other. They have yet to receive the initiation of Equality, Freedom, and Fraternity, and to know that peace is conquered when they dwell from a place of Divine grace.
“Faith without works is like a bird without wings; though she may hop with her companions on earth,
yet she will never fly with them to heaven.”
~Francis Beaumont
